Dr. Patricia Pimentel Selassie received her undergraduate degree from Towson University in Towson, Maryland and her Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, the leading medical institute in science-based natural medicine. A third generation physician, she is the founder of New Flower Center for Naturopathic Medicine in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Selassie is a family doctor, specializing in conditions such as autoimmune disorders, cancer, digestive disorders, heart disease and skin care. She approaches all patients employing diet and lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, herbal medicine and clinical nutrition with the ultimate goal of achieving vibrant health. She is committed to serving with integrity, caring and excellence.
Dr. Selassie is a board certified, licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She is a professional member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP) and is an Examiner who writes questions for the Naturopathic Licensing Exam Board (NPLEX). Dr. Selassie is also a Director of Nutrition for Invite Health and can be heard live with Jerry Hickey, RPh,CNS on Invite Radio. A much sought after and accessible speaker, she has given presentations on the Naturopathic Medical Profession and presentations at columia University, Drexel University, George Washington University, Howard University, James Madison University, New York University and Princeton University among others.
Dr. Selassie was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
